    How Do Lasers Work?

    Lasers are used every day. From helping perform surgery to a cool light show; lasers can be awesome or mundane. But have you ever wondered what a laser actually is?

    Though it is much less expensive to initially get subscriptions into the local electric company's grid than it is to set up and hook into wind turbines, in the long run one saves money by using the wind for one's energy needs while also becoming more independent.

    Heat is often defined as energy in transit or the the flow of energy.

    Often we will see and hear about telescopes, and have a preconceived notion that a telescope is essential to be able to do backyard astronomy, however this is not the case. Nor is it essential to spend hundreds if not thousands of dollars to get started in backyard astronomy as a hobby.

    Milky Way A Changing Galaxy

    When someone asks you where you live, what do you say? You'll probably say your house. But, imagine not knowing what your house looks like. Here on Earth, we all live in the Milky Way galaxy which may actually look quite a bit different than we have thought for years.

    A look at the process of measuring resistivity and how the meter measuring this property is extensively used in mining and electrical manufacturing.
